An Interesting Story Podcast began in 2025 with the idea of relating a story, event etc. without the benefit of doing it through video, which would have been by way of a series of short documentaries and I may still do this, but time gets away from you. Its said that time is a currency we all have to spend, but we never know the balance, and I think about that a lot.

I'm the creator and main Host for AIS, my name is Steve Sprague and I've had an interest in history, the odd, obscure and interesting as long as I can remember. My wife, Karen and I have spent several decades traveling the back roads of Texas discovering hidden gems and documenting the inevitable changes happening over time. Once upon a time, we were the premier documentarians of the numerous ghost towns that are spread across central, south and west Texas and we're pretty proud of that. This is the next stage in our journey so come along with us.
